nfreij@seti.orgNabil Freij is a solar physicist specializing in the study of magnetic waves and how they traverse the solar atmosphere.
He also spends his effects on open-source software, trying to improve the software ecosystem for heliophysics and working closely with the SunPy Project.
He has worked a range of jobs from Research Software Engineer at BAERi, as a dedicated Python developer, to a data scientist working on near-real time weather at the University of Reading, as well as a research scientist at Universitat de les Illes Balears working on coronal heating and MHD waves. He received a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Sheffield and Master of Physics at the University of Warwick.
