esimpson@seti.orgI am an early-career scientist with a research background in exoplanetary science, planetary habitability, and variable host star behavior. At SETI, I apply my knowledge to planetary data products for the Ring-Moon Systems Node.
During my time at UC Riverside, I primarily worked with TESS data products to study the behaviors of variable hosts stars, and how these behaviors could affect their exoplanets. I continue this work beyond the scope of my thesis, and intend to continue pursuing the full picture of stellar behavior’s role in planetary system stability and formation.
At the Ring-Moon Systems Node, my role is to aid in miscellaneous projects to streamline and refine the operations of the Node.
