Time: Sunday, Aug 05, 2018 -
Location: The Space Station Museum, Novato, CA
At the 7th annual Novato Space Festival, visitors will get to meet and talk with veteran astronauts and explore space science exhibits (for all ages) from NASA & various science centers.
This is a rare opportunity to talk with astronauts who flew to the moon, piloted the Space Shuttle, walked in space, and lived on the International Space Station.
This family-oriented, in/out-door festival has exhibits ranging from touching real moon rocks to viewing the Sun through a telescope. Hosted by The Space Station Museum, many artifacts from its extensive collection will be on display in the museum's gallery.
There will be a panel discussion with the astronauts and scientists and several book signing opportunities throughout the event.
Jill Tarter, co-founder of the SETI Institute and Chair Emeritus for SETI Research will be on hand to sign books.
