2018 California Science Education Conference

Where California Science TK-12 Teachers Go for CA NGSS. The California Science Education Conference is the best source of information on implementing CA NGSS in the classroom.

The California Science Teachers Association (CSTA) hosts this conference to focus on what California science educators need to know to hone their craft, stay updated on standards, and apply best practices gleaned from experts throughout the state.

Pamela Harman, Acting Director of the Center for Education at the SETI Institute, will offer two workshops:

• Kinesthetic Astronomy in a 3-Dimensional Learning Setting
• Detecting Visible & Infrared Light in a 3-Dimensional Learning Setting
